Awww that was really sweet. It sounds like she likes you too but is scared you might hurt or reject her and is putting up walls and defense mechanisms. Now that you clearly and politely made your move, you have to play games too since that's what she's doing. Try to back off and stop flirting with her while still being nice and casually talking to her. Girls like to be pursued but they have to earn it. You're pursuing her even when she's giving signals pretending she doesn't want you to, so pretend you got the point and are respecting her request until she becomes desperate for you to pursue her again. She might start initiating it herself but if you keep it one sided she will lose all interest. Hope that made sense.
