HONESTLY how much does a piercing hurt?

I am wanting to get my nose pierced... I am only fourteen... I DO, know what I am doing I AM NOT STUPID!!!!! I know what I put into my body as well as do, to my body. Please be honest. One of my friends cried hysterically, but I have watched videos and all they do is squint and or close there eyes, and then they might water for a while. I need help!!!!!! I have a medium pain tolerance, and a sorta thick nose I guess. I REALLY want to get this done.
