I was awarded unemployment comp. pa employer appealed because they are a church. Will my decision be reversed?
I initially was denied due to not making enough money. I was awarded a hearing and provided my pay stub for the two years I was employed with the agency. The employer did no show up at the hearing. The referee ruled that I was financially eligible and then they ruled that I was eligible due to my separation because it was not misconduct. I was awarded back payments and I received an appeal notice from my employer stating that they are a church and do not have to pay unemployment. They provided a form in which I signed when I was hired back in 09. I didn't trust the form so after I was fired without proper cause I filed anyway and won. Will the decision be reversed?
