Is Ireland are very racist country?

Yes of course Ireland is a racist country, and yes I'm irish, even I was shocked, but as soon as we started getting an influx of eastern european immigrants and African refugees it brought out a lot of racism in people. We went from being a 100% white and catholic country to a multicultural country in a very short space of time, almost over night and a lot of people were 'put out' Of course a lot of people were more bothered by the free money given to refugees by the Government than anything else, or the fact that that people claiming social welfare were not Irish anymore, but lots of different nationalities. Not to mention that people here seems to thing that discriminating against the traveller community is NOT racism, they see it as the norm. Sure there are people living here who feel happy and safe and not discriminated against, but people are very naive to think we don't have racism here. That been said, the majority aren't but then again you get rascists in every part of the world.
