I just got a new green cheek conure?

i have alot of questions ! wht does it mean if they like to stand on one leg, how do i know when they are tired , is it normal for him not to immediatly want to perch on my finger, what does it mean if he squints , would it be a good idea to get him a friend ??? thanks !
